Family Thrift CentersTurn your unwanted goods into a donation to the SPD Foundation by giving them to the Family Thrift Center in Denver.

A percentage of Family Thrift Center revenue is donated to the KID Foundation, which established the thrift stores in 1985. KID has become a fund-raising arm of the SPD Foundation. All proceeds donated by KID Foundation to the SPD Foundation are used for SPD research, education, and advocacy.

Two Family Thrift Centers are located in the Denver area:

The centers welcome donations of clothes, furniture, small working appliances, toys, and most anything else. You can drop off your used items at one of the centers listed above or call 303.455.8788 for a free pick-up. (Pick-up is limited to specific areas in metro Denver.)

Sponsor a donation drive!

Parent-teacher organizations, Boy/Girl Scouts, Kiwanis, churches, and other community organizations can help SPDF help sensational kids and others by sponsoring donation drives to collect goods for Family Thrift Center stores. The KID Foundation and the SPD Foundation are 501(c)3 public charities. All contributions of goods are tax-deductible.
