We are so pleased to expand our educational offerings to include Kay A. Toomey, PhD, presenting her transdisciplinary program for assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties and weight/growth problems of all ages, with a special focus on children from 12 months to 5 years old. The training integrates posture, sensory, motor, behavioral/learning, medical and nutritional factors to allow participants to comprehensively evaluate and manage children with feeding/growth problems. Erin Ross, PhD, CCC-SLP, is also presenting with Dr. Toomey.

Basic 3-day Course
SOS Approach to Feeding is a transdisciplinary program for assessing and treating children with feeding difficulties and weight/growth problems of all ages, with a special focus on children from 12 months to 5 years old. It integrates posture, sensory, motor, behavioral/learning, medical and nutritional factors to comprehensively evaluate and manage children with feeding/growth problems. Basic course is a prerequisite for attending Advanced Workshops.
Advanced Workshops
Designed to further the skills of professionals who have already attended the 3-day Basic SOS Approach to Feeding Course. The workshops will delineate special concepts and treatment variations for specific feeding problems.

FACULTY
Kay A. Toomey, PhD, Pediatric Psychologist and Clinical Director of SOS Feeding Solutions at STAR (Sensory Therapies And Research) Center. Dr. Toomey developed the SOS Approach to Feeding and has been teaching and consulting internationally to professionals and parents for more than 20 years.
Erin Ross, PhD, CCC-SLP, specializes in evaluating and treating feeding and growth problems in medically-fragile infants and children and is a member of the SOS Feeding Solutions team at STAR Center.
