Parent Workshop – Friday, March 16, 2012
Sensory-based Strategies for Home, School and Community
The basics on sensory processing disorder for parents, grandparents, caregivers and anyone wanting to learn sensory strategies for everyday life. Program includes:

an introduction to sensory processing disorder with examples by Diana A. Henry, MS, OTR
tips for successful play by Doreit S. Bialer, MA, OTR/L, author of No Longer A SECRET: Unique Common Sense Strategies for Children with Motor Challenges
AND take away sensory-based strategies for home, school and community from Diana A. Henry, MS, OTR. This will be a hands-on fun workshop filled with movement, music, bouncy balls, stretching, pushing pulling and calming for children of all ages (including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary age children and adolescents) as well as the adults participating! Opportunities for teaming and time for questions will be provided.

Bring an exercise ball if you can! Will also feature parent stories to bring hope and inspire you.

Meet Sarge!

A little wine, some mingling and lots of laughter.

Enjoy an evening of sidesplitting humor with the musically talented, hilarious Sarge. Take a break from learning and join us for a complimentary wine and cheese reception and a performance that will have you laughing until you cry!
